Jonathan Feldman

Jonathan Feldman is a Senior Consulting Actuary located in the Washington, DC area. His primary focus is multiemployer retirement plans. Jonathan began his actuarial career in 1992 as an intern in the Office of the Actuary at the United States Office of Personnel Management.

Relevant Experience

In his career working with multiemployer retirement plans, Jonathan has extensive experience working on plan mergers and spin-offs, rehabilitation and funding improvement plans as well as implementing benefit increases for well-funded plans. Previously, Jonathan has worked on single-employer, association and public pension plans, and he has worked as a designer and tester of actuarial valuation systems. Jonathan has worked across an array of industries including construction, retail, and service.

Industry Activities

Jonathan has been a speaker at various conferences, employer association meetings and union meetings on topics related to multiemployer retirement plans.

Off the Clock

In his spare time, Jonathan likes family dinners, playing strategy board games, marathon training and listening to science fiction books on tape.

Education

Jonathan is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, an Enrolled Actuary under ERISA and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Jonathan graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Brandeis University in Waltham, MA, and has a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of Maryland in College Park, MD.
