Gerry Crews

Gerry Crews is a Managing Consultant and owner of Horizon Actuarial located in Irvine, CA.  His primary focus has been multiemployer health and welfare plans since 2002.  Gerry began his consulting career in 1985.

Relevant Experience

In his career, he has worked with a variety of multiemployer health, vacation and retirement plans in an array of industries, including retail, wholesale, hospitality, soft drink and building services.

Industry Activities

Gerry has been a speaker at the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans annual conference discussing health and welfare reserves, and he authored a COBRA compliance manual for multiemployer plans. He has also served as an expert witness involving a wide variety of issues in arbitrations and federal court.

Off the Clock

In his spare time, Gerry enjoys hiking, exploring national parks and traveling the world.

Education

Gerry graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Whittier College and served on their Alumni Association Board of Directors.
