Gary Lake

Gary is a Senior Consulting Actuary in the Washington, DC office who consults on multiemployer health and welfare plans. He's an expert on managed care, self-insurance, life and health insurance company analysis, and the valuation of life and health plans.

Relevant Experience

With more than 40 years of industry experience, Gary is skilled in benefit modeling, claims analysis, pricing the impact of benefit changes, development of reserves, financial projections, and other actuarial work for insurance carriers, HMOs, and multiemployer health and welfare benefit plans.

Education

Gary is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He received a BA in Mathematics from the University of Iowa.
